HOUSE
At the beginning of the last century, H.Citron and J.Halbreich built a glass factory and a copper foundry on the property with an elevated central shaft. In 1936, the Standard-Nool boot factory was established in the building. In 1960, the basilica-style industrial building was converted into a teaching workshop.
The 3-storey historic building at Vabriku 59 was brought to life by Perton Ehituse – creating a modern, yet homely and safe living environment with a large courtyard. A large, fenced courtyard with a playground, seating area and plenty of greenery is a great place for barbecues with friends, reading books and spending time with the family.
Wide windows, high ceilings, thick stone walls, wall surfaces exposed from the inside and partially exposed historic structures are a reminder of the building’s dignified past.
The front door of the house is locked and there is a padlock system.
LAYOUT AND INTERIOR
The 50.4 m² design apartment on the third floor is very well laid out and tastefully decorated, with a focus on the needs and comfort of the homeowner.
The 3.6 metre high ceilings are a great advantage, providing more space and plenty of storage.
The apartment is characterised by a wealth of light, a carefully considered design and a calm colour palette.
The apartment comprises a living room with open-plan kitchen, a bedroom and a third room that can be used as required, a hall and a shower room with WC.
The interior of the apartment is decorated with quality materials and mild colours inspired by the atmosphere of the historic house. Lightness is brought in by oak parquet flooring with fish-oil pattern and bleached surfaces and light-toned walls, while high, original concrete ceilings add spaciousness and elegant furniture details add contrast. The bathroom has ceramic tiled walls and floors. The interior designer’s aim was to create a beautiful interior that is at once contemporary and excitingly blends the new and the old, and where the home is a place to be.
FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT
The functional kitchen furniture is integrated with high quality kitchen appliances: a Whirlpool induction hob, oven, dishwasher, air cleaner and a large Whirlpool fridge-freezer. In addition, there is a wine fridge in the kitchen. In the shower room there is a Beko washer-dryer in addition to sanitary ware, furniture and a shower corner.
HEATING, VENTILATION AND SMART HOUSE
The energy class C building has an active and smart cooperative and reasonable utility costs. The building has a common gas heating solution. Underfloor water heating is adjustable in each room.
Korteripõhine soojustagastusega sundventilatsioon tagab alati hea sisekliima nii kütteperioodil kui suvesoojuses.
