Description

Newly renovated 99.4 m² 3-room apartment in a prime location in the heart of Tallinn’s Old Town – where unique dining, a rich cultural and educational environment and the medieval Old Town as a UNESCO World Heritage Site meet.

HOUSE

The building Lai 34 // Vaimu 3 was built in 1809-1811, the owner of the building was the hydrographer, the builder of the lighthouse of Mohn and the lower lighthouse of Tallinn and the head of the Lighthouse Supervision Office Leonti Spafarjev, the architect of the building was Carl Ludvig Engel. The building was originally erected on the site of two medieval buildings – a small dwelling house and a barn – and an open square at the rear of the plot of land extending from Pikalt Street to Laiala Street. In the 1950s the building housed the Physical Culture and Sports Committee of the Council of Ministers of the Estonian SSR.

Lai 34 is a 3-storey stone building and the staircase is locked.
