Description

Loft-style apartment with sea view for rent in the Põhjala factory area!

Parking and storage space available for an additional fee of €120/month.

ANKRU 8

Perhaps you have heard the urban legend that a future landmark is being built in Kopli. An old factory building that has been reconstructed into a modern, yet completely unique apartment building. Ankru 8 is located in the heart of the Põhjala factory, a developing cultural and community center. The creative concept for the building was developed by the leaders of the Põhjala factory, and the construction was carried out by the real estate developer Hausers.

The building has several shared spaces – a sunset-facing roof terrace and greenhouse, a reservable common room on the roof, a laundry room, a co-working area, and much more.

The building has an elevator. The front door is locked and opens with a keypad system. The building’s hallways are spacious and there is plenty of room.

LAYOUT AND INTERIOR DESIGN

The apartment on the 4th floor is 52 m² and is perfect for one or two people.

The interior design of the apartment uses light tones, which are contrasted by yellow and red furniture. The overall appearance of the apartment is cozy and creates a calming atmosphere. Lighting fixtures and plants are used as decorative details. The floor is covered with natural wood parquet. The bathroom walls and floor are covered with ceramic tiles.

Upon entering the apartment, you will see an 18 m² balcony with a sea view from the kitchen-living room. The shower room is located to the right of the entrance hall.

A staircase leads from the living room to the mezzanine, where there is a relaxation area and a sleeping area.

INTERIOR

The apartment is rented furnished and all items are in very good condition.

The functional kitchen furniture has high-quality kitchen appliances built in. The appliances include an Ikea refrigerator and freezer, a Bosch oven, an Ikea induction hob, an extractor fan, and a dishwasher. The bathroom has an Electrolux washing machine for the tenant’s use.

HEATING AND VENTILATION

The Ankru 8 building is connected to the district heating network and the apartment has underfloor heating (except for the 2nd floor). The building has been issued with a C-class energy rating. The apartments have forced ventilation with heat recovery.

PARKING

The apartment comes with one parking space(for extra fee) in the regulated parking lot behind the building. Street parking is also available.

NEIGHBORHOOD AND PÕHJALA FACTORY

96 years ago, Harry Feldmann, a visionary with a background in Kopli and an engineering education, founded the cooperative Eesti Kummitööstus. Until 1998, the former Russian-Baltic shipbuilding factory produced shoes, toys, and rubberized clothing. At the end of the 1970s, the Põhjala factory employed over 700 people, making it a true large-scale industry.

Today, the Põhjala factory is home to over 100 creative businesses, including a bar, a bakery, restaurants, and cafes. At the Põhjala factory, you can enjoy the greenery of the city in the community and roof gardens, visit art exhibitions, and shop in studio stores.

Walking along the seaside promenade, you will find yourself in modern Bullerby, where everything you need is within reach. Children play in the car-free courtyard, and the baker knows what you want for breakfast just by looking at you.

The Põhjala factory is a place where everyone can find something to do. Construction goes hand in hand with concerts and performances, comedy nights, markets, and festivals. Those who rush to the botics meet muddy city gardeners, and lovers whisper behind the bushes.

In addition, Ankru 8 is only 200 meters from the tram and bus stop.

Upon signing the contract, you must pay: the first month’s rent in advance, a security deposit, and the broker’s fee + VAT.
