Description
HOUSE
The Fahle House, designed by KOKO, is one of the most distinctive examples of Estonian architecture during the recent economic boom. It was architecturally bold, risky in terms of real estate development, controversial in terms of heritage protection and attracted widespread public attention. Situated on a stretch of road between the airport and the city centre, at one of the main entrances to Tallinn, the Fahle House attracts the attention of every passer-by. The building is part of a former pulp and paper complex, the most prominent feature of which is a tall and massive limestone boiling plant designed by architect Erich Jacoby.
The building is in very good condition, the common areas are clean and well kept, and the front door is locked. The corridors are spacious and there is plenty of room.
LAYOUT AND FINISHES
The apartment is located on the penultimate floor.
The interior of the apartment is designed by KOKO architects. The whole appearance of the apartment forms a cosy whole and creates a calming atmosphere. The view from the window contrasts the overall urban and industrial feel.
The apartment offers a beautiful view of Tallinn.
The kitchen is functional and of high quality. The kitchen has everything at your fingertips, which makes cooking more convenient. All the equipment is integrated and creates a coherent whole. There is also plenty of storage space in the kitchen, making it easy to keep things tidy.
FURNISHING
The apartment is rented furnished and all items are in very good condition.
The functional kitchen furniture is integrated with high quality kitchen appliances. Appliances include fridge, freezer, oven, hob, extractor hood and dishwasher. In the bathroom, a washing machine is at the tenant’s disposal.
UTILITIES
The building has an active housing association. The apartment is heated by district central heating and the radiators are adjustable. In sunny weather, an economical air conditioner keeps the room cool.
PARKING
The apartment comes with one parking space in a heated garage under the building.
ENVIRONMENT
As the apartment is located in the city centre, everything you need for living is just a few minutes away. The city centre and all major entertainment and shopping centres are just a 5-minute walk away.
The logistical location is one of the best in Tallinn. Fahle house is located on the edge of the city centre, at one of Tallinn’s main entrances on the way from the airport to the city centre. In the immediate vicinity of Fahle Haus you will find shops and large shopping centres such as Sikupill Centre, Ülemiste Centre and T1 Shopping Centre, offering shopping, sports and entertainment facilities. The ever-growing and renewing Fahle district also enriches your senses with fresh morning coffee, French-style lunch and delicious dinner at the Argentinian restaurant.
In addition, the Fahle is close to various public transport stops (city bus, train, tram) as well as the bus and airport. When staying at the Fahle House, it’s no problem to forget your documents when you board your flight, as the car ride home and back takes no more than ten minutes.
When signing the contract, you will have to pay: the first month’s rent in advance, a deposit and a broker’s commission.
