Description

HOUSE

The Fahle House, designed by KOKO, is one of the most characteristic examples of architecture during Estonia’s recent economic boom. It was an architecturally airy object that is risky from the point of view of real estate development, controversial in terms of heritage protection and that has received wide public attention. Located on the road between the airport and the city center, next to one of the main entrances to Tallinn, Fahle House attracts the attention of every passer-by. The building is part of a former pulp and paper industry complex, the most prominent of which is a tall and massive limestone boiler designed by architect Erich Jacoby.

The condition of the house is very good, the rooms in public use are clean and kept, the front door is locked. The corridors of the house are easy to move around with a pram, as they are very spacious.

PLANNING AND INTERIOR FINISHING

Although the apartment is ready, it still has a lot of potential and opportunities to design it yourself. The apartment is ideal for a person who is looking for something personal and appreciates spaciousness. It can be an apartment for a young person to host guests as well as a family apartment.

Upon entering the apartment, you will find yourself in the hallway, which has a large and spacious closet with slides. On the other side of the closet is a door leading to a laundry room with a toilet, sink and washing machine with dryer. There is also a drawer module, but other suitable cabinets can be ordered there as desired.

Moving on from the hall, there is a spacious view of the kitchen-living room. The back wall of the kitchen shows the history of the house, and the old look of this apartment can also be seen there. The room is lit by large windows that can be opened. Large wooden window sills offer good use when approaching creatively. The windows offer a beautiful and relaxing view of Lake Ülemiste on the one hand, and the city hall, the airport and the Ferris wheel on the roof of the T1 on the other. However, there is no urban noise in the room.

There is also a glass-separated bedroom downstairs. The room can also be used for other purposes, such as an office space or a mini gym.

Going up the stairs, you will find two rooms separated by a plaster wall. The rooms have wooden mezzanines, which are ideal for creating a private sleeping area for children. This solution also allows you to make better use of space. However, if desired, it is possible to remove the plaster wall between the two rooms and make it a spacious bedroom that is accessible from both sides.

On the second floor there is also a small office corner with a beautiful view of the lake. It is also possible to place a large bookshelf or make a quiet reading corner.

The bathroom is a gem in itself because it is spacious and extremely unique. In the sauna you can throw steam as well as enjoy infrared. There is also a jacuzzi where you can relax on the weekends. After a sauna session, cooling is provided by a shower. There is also the second toilet in the apartment.

FURNISHINGS

The apartment is sold furnished and all items are in good condition.

High-quality kitchen appliances from Electrolux and AEG are integrated into the functional kitchen furniture. Appliances include a fridge, freezer, oven, induction hob, extractor and a wide dishwasher. The ground floor laundry room has a washer and dryer.

UTILITIES

There is an active apartment association in the house. The heating of the apartment is based on district heating and the radiators are adjustable. There is also electric underfloor heating in the laundry room.

PARKING

The price of the apartment includes a place in the underground car park. It is also possible to park in the parking lot in front of the house according to the registered number plate. Guests can park in the nearby paid parking areas or in the Prisma car park across the road free for up to 3 hours.

SURROUNDINGS

As the apartment is located in the city center, everything you need for life can be reached in just a few minutes. The city center and all major entertainment and shopping centers are just a 5-minute walk away.

Logistic location one of the best in Tallinn. Fahle House is located on the edge of the city center, next to one of the most important entrances to Tallinn, on the way from the airport to the city center. In the immediate vicinity of Fahle House there are grocery stores and large shopping malls such as Sikupilli Center, Ülemiste Center and T1 Shopping Center, which offer shopping, sports and entertainment opportunities. The Fahle Quarter, which is also growing and renewing, will enrich your senses with fresh morning coffee, a French lunch and a delicious dinner at an Argentinian restaurant.

In addition, the Fahle house is close to various public transport stops (city bus, train, tram) and the bus and airport. If you live in a Fahle house, it is not a problem to forget the documents when you go home, because the drive home and back does not take more than 10 ten minutes.
